PartnerClay began his accounting career in 2019, gaining experience in tax, reviews, and compilations while serving individuals, real estate investors, and small business owners. After earning his CPA license in 2022 and working in both public and private accounting, he developed a practical, client-focused approach to helping people navigate complex financial decisions.
As co-founder of Hobbs & Perez CPAs, LLP, Clay works closely with business owners, real estate investors, and individuals on tax preparation, planning, and advisory services. He is passionate about simplifying complex topics, educating clients, and building trusted relationships that extend beyond tax season.
Outside the office, Clay enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying involved in the local community, and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Jovany Perez, CPA
PartnerJovany began his accounting career in 2019, with experience in audits, tax, reviews, and compilations. After earning his CPA license in 2021, he served as a controller for a multi-entity company, gaining valuable insight into the operational and financial challenges business owners face every day.
As co-founder of Hobbs & Perez CPAs, LLP, Jovany works with small business owners and individuals on tax preparation, planning, and ongoing financial guidance. Known for his thoughtful and analytical approach, he enjoys helping clients navigate complex situations and find practical solutions they can move forward with confidence.
Jovany believes accounting is about more than numbers—it’s about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. He lives in Modesto with his wife and children.
